About the position

The Solar Sales Consultant at PosiGen plays a crucial role in promoting solar energy solutions to residential customers. This position focuses on helping customers save money through a unique solar leasing program that requires no credit checks and offers guaranteed savings. The consultant will manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing sales, while building strong relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the installation process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, and direct marketing
  • Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business
  • Attend company-provided appointments
  • Assist homeowners in executing documents and providing necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the installation and activation process
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs, particularly Salesforce CRM
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Flexible based on customer availability

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus
  • Experience in cold calling, networking, and lead generation
