In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about the benefits of solar energy, conducting assessments, and guiding them through the installation process. Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential customers through door to door sales.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of customer properties to determine solar energy needs and solutions.
  • Present customized solar solutions that meet the specific requirements of each client.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless installation and service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Utilize software tools for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting sales activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in outside sales or energy sales is required; experience in solar sales is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are encouraged to apply to better serve diverse communities.
  • Familiarity with technical sales concepts and ability to explain complex information clearly to customers.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within designated areas.
