About the position

The Solar Sales Consultant at Trusted Energy is responsible for promoting and selling solar energy solutions to homeowners, helping them understand the benefits of renewable energy while ensuring a seamless sales process. This role involves lead generation, customer engagement, and collaboration with the management team to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through various channels, including door-to-door sales, phone calls, emails, and networking.
• Present all product information through company slide decks and determine client pain points and what products will best benefit their situation.
• Close and negotiate in-home or virtual deals through various finance partners.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing any client questions and resolving concerns about the process.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure a seamless process from sales to installation on the backend.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven track record in solar sales, preferably from the solar industry or renewable energy sector.
• Experience with door-to-door sales, lead generation, outreach, and networking with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with similar industries like pest control, roofing, or alarms.
• Ability to use various installer partnerships and CRM software for client organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in HVAC and security systems sales.
