About the position

As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our mission by providing customers with the opportunity to lease solar systems with no money down and guaranteed cost savings. Our unique approach eliminates finance requirements and credit checks, allowing you to focus on helping customers achieve their energy goals while earning a competitive income. In this mobile role, you will manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. You will build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including referrals, prospecting, and direct marketing. We offer additional compensation for self-generated deals, and you will have access to proprietary referral apps and incentives to help jump-start your business. You will also attend company-provided appointments and assist homeowners in executing documents to maximize their savings by going solar. Your responsibilities will include maintaining ongoing partnerships with valued customers, providing support throughout the installation and activation process, and collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, direct marketing, and more

  • Attend company-provided appointments
  • Help homeowners execute documents and provide necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Maintain ongoing partnerships with valued customers, offering support throughout the installation and activation process
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs (Salesforce CRM is used heavily)
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willing to move through the pre-employment screening process

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the solar industry
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency products
