About the position

As a Residential Energy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our mission by managing the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. This mobile role requires driving for lead generation, conducting in-home consultations, and managing customer accounts. Our unique approach allows customers to lease solar systems with no money down and earn guaranteed cost savings, making it easier for you to achieve the minimum performance standard of six sales per month. At PosiGen, we offer a competitive base salary along with a Fast Start Bonus to support you during your first 90 days. Our compensation structure includes uncapped commission and various bonus incentives, allowing you to maximize your earnings. We also provide full benefits, including a 401K with company match, stock options, and tuition reimbursement, ensuring that you have the support you need for both your professional and personal growth. Our sales team is focused on helping customers save money rather than just increasing the number of solar panels installed. You will build a ‘book of business’ through self-generated leads, referrals, and direct marketing, and we reward you with extra pay for self-generated deals. You will also leverage our proprietary referral app and attend company-provided appointments to assist homeowners in executing documents and maximizing their savings. Maintaining ongoing partnerships with customers and collaborating with other departments to ensure satisfaction and project success are key aspects of this role. Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a ‘book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, direct marketing, and more
  • Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business
  • Attend company-provided appointments
  • Assist homeowners in executing documents and providing necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the installation and activation process
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs, especially Salesforce CRM
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be flexible based on customer availability

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus
  • Highly persuasive, self-disciplined, and honest
  • A ‘no fear' attitude towards cold calling, networking, and lead-generating
