About the position

Helios Energy Power, a leading residential solar company in California since 2018, is seeking passionate and self-motivated sales leaders to join our team as Solar Sales Consultants. This role is pivotal in helping homeowners transition from traditional energy sources to clean, cost-effective solar energy solutions. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding potential and current customers through the sales process, from initial contact to closing the sale. You will educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and the potential increase in home value. In this position, you will actively market Helios Energy Power's products and services, generating leads through door-to-door outreach and leveraging company-supplied leads. You will be supported by a dedicated operations and installation team, ensuring a seamless experience for customers. The solar industry is rapidly growing, and with the cost of solar energy decreasing significantly, this is an exciting time to be part of a movement that not only benefits homeowners but also contributes positively to the environment. You will receive comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this role. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with potential and current customers to facilitate the transition to solar energy.
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings and increased home value.
  • Market Helios Energy Power products and services to set up new customers.
  • Self-generate leads and referrals through door-to-door outreach and other methods.
  • Attend industry-leading training sessions and sales meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Participate in team campaigns, including door-to-door efforts and presentations at events.

Requirements

  • Must attend and pass applicable sales training.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate proposals during in-home presentations.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Experience in sales or negotiation preferred (1 year).
  • Ability to commute to Arcadia, CA.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in technical sales is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
