About the position

As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our mission by managing the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. This position offers a base salary along with an uncapped commission structure, allowing you to earn significant income based on your performance. You will also receive a Fast Start Bonus to support you during your first 90 days, along with full benefits including a car allowance, cell phone allowance, and opportunities for growth and promotion. In this mobile role, you will be responsible for driving to generate leads, conducting in-home consultations, and managing customer accounts. Your primary goal will be to help homeowners execute documents and provide the necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar. You will maintain an ongoing partnership with our valued customers, offering support throughout the entire installation and activation process. This position requires flexibility, as you may need to work evenings, Saturdays, and holidays based on customer availability. At PosiGen, we pride ourselves on our unique approach to solar sales. Our customers face no finance requirements or credit checks, as we inherit the credit risk, allowing them to lease a solar system with no money down. This enables our Residential Energy Specialists to easily meet the minimum performance standard of six sales per month. We are not just focused on installing solar panels; we are committed to helping our customers save money and improve their home efficiency while contributing to a sustainable future.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, and direct marketing
  • Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business
  • Attend company-provided appointments
  • Assist homeowners in executing documents and providing necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the installation and activation process
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs, especially Salesforce CRM
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be flexible based on customer availability

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus
  • Experience in lead generation and networking
