Join the Solar For All Mission at PosiGen, where we are dedicated to helping people save money while also making a positive impact on the environment. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our mission by managing the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. This position offers a base salary along with full benefits, a car allowance, a cell phone allowance, and uncapped commission opportunities. Our representatives have the potential to earn a significant income, with average earnings ranging from $90,000 to $200,000 USD annually, thanks to our generous commission structure and bonus incentives. At PosiGen, we have eliminated the barriers that often prevent customers from going solar. Our customers face no finance requirements or credit checks, allowing them to lease a solar system with no money down and enjoy guaranteed cost savings. This unique approach enables our Residential Energy Specialists to achieve an average of 12 sales per month, which is double the minimum performance standard of 6. We focus on helping our customers save money while also contributing to environmental sustainability, rather than simply maximizing the number of solar panels installed. In this mobile role, you will be responsible for driving to generate leads, conducting in-home consultations, and managing customer accounts. You will build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including referrals and direct marketing, and you will be compensated extra for self-generated deals. You will also attend company-provided appointments and assist homeowners in executing documents to maximize their savings through solar energy. Maintaining ongoing partnerships with customers and collaborating with other departments to ensure satisfaction and project success are key components of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, direct marketing, and more
  • Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business
  • Attend company-provided appointments
  • Help homeowners execute documents and provide necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the lease term and project milestones
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proven success in a lead-generating, quota-driven sales position preferred
  • Proficient with complex computer programs (Salesforce CRM is used heavily)
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
