About the position

Ridge Runner Solar is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Sales Specialists to join our team. As a leader in the renewable energy sector, we are dedicated to transforming how consumers power their homes and businesses through solar energy. Our approach is personalized; we understand that solar energy is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Therefore, we conduct in-house energy assessments and inspections to educate our customers on optimizing their energy efficiency while maximizing savings on their utility bills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently without the constraints of traditional sales environments. We pride ourselves on a commission structure that allows you to earn industry-leading commissions directly, without layers of management taking a cut. Our close rates are nearly 90%, and we provide you with the tools necessary to succeed, including access to Sales Rabbit. You will enjoy a flexible work schedule, no mandatory sales meetings, and no quotas or pressure to meet sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-house energy assessments and inspections for customers.
  • Educate customers on energy efficiency and solar energy solutions.
  • Sell solar energy systems to customers based on their individual needs.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach throughout the sales process.
  • Achieve high close rates and follow through on leads.
  • Work independently with a flexible schedule.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in solar sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A self-starting attitude and a customer-centric approach.
  • A smartphone for communication and sales tools.
  • A persuasive and honest work ethic.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales outside of solar energy.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy solutions.
