About the position

As a Residential Energy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our mission by managing the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. This mobile role requires driving for lead generation, conducting in-home consultations, and managing customer accounts. Our unique approach allows customers to lease solar systems with no money down, eliminating finance requirements and credit checks, which makes it easier for you to achieve your sales goals. With a minimum performance standard of 6 sales per month, our representatives can earn a base salary along with generous commission earnings for each sale made. In this position, you will build a "book of business" through self-generated leads, including referrals, prospecting, and direct marketing. We offer extra compensation for self-generated deals, and you will have access to proprietary referral apps and incentives to help jump-start your business. You will also attend company-provided appointments and assist homeowners in executing documents to maximize their savings by going solar. Maintaining an ongoing partnership with our valued customers is essential, as you will provide support throughout the entire installation and activation process, working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, direct marketing, and more

  • Assist homeowners in executing documents and providing necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs (Salesforce CRM is used heavily)
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willing to move through the pre-employment screening process
