As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding potential customers through the process of converting from traditional energy sources to solar power, emphasizing the benefits of energy cost savings, environmental impact, and increased home value. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. You will work closely with both potential and current customers, educating them on the advantages of solar energy and addressing any concerns they may have. Your efforts will be supported by our top-notch operations and installation teams, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. You will also have the opportunity to participate in various marketing campaigns, including door-to-door outreach and community events, to generate leads and referrals. We understand that the solar industry can be daunting for newcomers, which is why we provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with potential and current customers to facilitate their transition to solar energy.
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings and increased home value.
  • Own the sales process from lead acquisition to closing the sale.
  • Self-generate leads through door-to-door outreach and referrals, supplemented by company-provided leads.
  • Participate in team campaigns and community events to promote Helios Energy Power's products and services.
  • Attend industry-leading training sessions and sales meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Must attend and pass applicable sales training.
  • Ability to effectively communicate proposals during in-home presentations.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Willingness to participate in cold calling and pursuing company leads.
  • Strong negotiation skills and customer service experience are preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM software, particularly Salesforce, is preferred.
  • Prior experience in sales or technical sales is beneficial.
