About the position

The Solar Sales Setter Leader at United Solar is responsible for driving new business through door-to-door sales of solar energy solutions. This role involves leading a team of appointment setters, engaging with potential residential customers, and promoting the benefits of solar energy while achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is passionate about green energy, possesses strong communication skills, and is capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Canvassing neighborhoods going door to door to identify and approach potential residential homeowner customers.
  • Making residential homeowner customers aware of the utility rate increases to close deals and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Leading a team of appointment setters.
  • Providing regular feedback and insights to management to help improve and refine our sales strategy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
  • Experience in door-to-door sales.
  • Knowledge of solar energy and construction industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
