About the position

The Soldering and Mechanical Assembly Technician role involves working in a manufacturing environment to assist in the fabrication of RF/EMI enclosures and components. The technician will support the production line and ensure quality assembly of mechanical components, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with production line setup and work at specific posts along the line.
  • Conduct mechanical assembly of components, ensuring correct fit of connections.
  • Stage solid wood doors, hollow metal doors, and hardware in the facility and on project sites.
  • Organize and take inventory, reporting to the manager when required.
  • Inspect assembled products for quality.
  • Complete assigned tasks and communicate status with department and/or project managers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing and/or construction experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Reliable Transportation.
  • Work Authorization in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with mechanical assembly is preferred; however, training is available for the right candidate.
  • Valid Driver's License.
