About the position

The Soldering / Harness Technician position at Kathrein Broadcast involves assembling, soldering, and creating wiring harnesses according to detailed work instructions and product specifications. Responsibilities

• Perform precision soldering tasks on electrical components and assemblies according to quality standards.
• Assemble wiring harnesses and cables by reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, and heat shrink tools to complete assemblies.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to company safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in soldering and harness assembly in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Proficient in soldering electrical components and assembling harnesses.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Experience using hand tools for electrical assembly.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small components.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification or training in soldering is preferred but not required.
