About the position

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using various drafting software. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy in designs. The Drafter will play a crucial role in the development of projects from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and schematics based on specifications provided by engineers.
• Utilize software such as Sketchup, Revit, and SolidWorks to create accurate 2D and 3D models.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and make necessary adjustments to drafts.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development of mechanical designs and layouts for various projects.
• Review and revise drafts based on feedback from project stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to draft complex schematics.
• Experience with 3D animation is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and modifications.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
