As a SolidWorks Drafter, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing projects by converting Inventor models and drawings into SolidWorks. This position requires a strong background in CAD modeling and drafting, specifically with SolidWorks, to create 3D models from scratch and produce accurate 2D drawings that adhere to Flowserve's CAD guidelines. The role is entirely on-site due to restrictions on accessing export-controlled content, ensuring that you will be working closely with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards. In this role, you will be responsible for creating complex geometries for castings and checking the outputs from other drafters to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. You will also be tasked with uploading checked files into the CAD management system and creating SolidWorks files from 2D AutoCAD drawings as needed. Your expertise in SolidWorks will be essential in driving the success of our projects and contributing to the overall mission of Tech Mahindra to revolutionize business models and operations through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Convert Inventor files into SolidWorks files by creating the CAD files from the ground up.
• Create existing 3D models in SolidWorks based on their Inventor counterparts.
• Recreate 2D drawings from 3D models while ensuring compliance with Flowserve's CAD guidelines.
• Check and correct outputs from other drafters to ensure accuracy.
• Upload checked files into the CAD management system.
• Create 3D SolidWorks files from 2D AutoCAD drawings where required.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in creating 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
• Experience in creating complex geometry for castings.
