About the position

The position involves preparing fabrication drawings, manufacturing instructions, and comprehensive bills of materials for custom precision cleaning and wet processing tools. The role requires collaboration with Mechanical Engineers to finalize designs and ensure timely project completion while addressing manufacturing discrepancies and providing hands-on support in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fabrication drawings and bills of materials for mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers on design details.
• Complete tasks on time to meet manufacturing timelines.
• Coordinate with project team members for efficient manufacturing designs.
• Communicate design constraints and work towards effective solutions.
• Provide timely feedback on requests for information from manufacturing personnel.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing discrepancies and revise documentation as necessary.
• Interact with ERP software for project BOM creation using standard materials.
• Support engineering designs in a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting new components.
• Assist in continuous process improvements and contribute positively to discussions.
• Perform other assigned duties, which may be unrelated to the primary position.

Requirements

• AAS degree in drafting, technical science, or engineering required.
• Proficient in 3D modeling and drawings using Solidworks.
• Knowledgeable of manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and plumbing schematics.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
• Capable of working independently to drive projects to completion.
• Quick learner with adaptability to new practices and procedures.
• Experience with 2-D CAD software (AutoCAD, DraftSight) desired.
