The Solix Data Architect position is a critical role that requires a minimum of 5-6 years of experience specifically with Solix CDP 2.6 or above. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the various functionalities that Solix offers, including but not limited to Active Archiving, Retention Policies, Reports, and Forms. This role demands solid hands-on experience in the end-to-end development of archival jobs for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sourced from different databases and file systems. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing large datasets effectively, as well as experience in Data Warehousing and ETL processes, which are preferred qualifications for this position. In this role, the Data Architect will be responsible for the development of active archival jobs within Solix, including the establishment of retention policies and the execution of purge jobs. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with gathering requirements and developing Reports and Forms in Solix CDP. Strong analytical skills are essential, as the role requires proficiency in Data Analysis and Data Requirements, along with experience in database programming using PLSQL. Familiarity with Hive databases and the conversion of SQL to HQL is also necessary. Moreover, the position requires robust data engineering skills, particularly with common AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, EMR, and VPC. Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker, is also a key requirement. Candidates with prior knowledge of Hadoop, MapReduce, EMR, and Solr Indexing will be given preference. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as the role involves technical documentation and a willingness to take on responsibilities.
