About the position

The Solution Architect for Accounting at Netsmart Technologies is a pivotal role responsible for providing expert knowledge and guidance in the implementation and maintenance of solutions within the healthcare information technology domain. This position requires a deep understanding of workflow and solution design to ensure that client engagements achieve defined benefits. The Solution Architect will work closely with clients to navigate their current workflows, manage system upgrades, and facilitate ongoing system maintenance. This role is not only about technical expertise but also about building and sustaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their expectations are managed and that project delivery aligns with engagement goals. In this role, the Solution Architect will act as a primary consultant, providing troubleshooting support and knowledge transfer to clients. They will be responsible for resolving escalated issues using their solution knowledge during various phases of the project lifecycle, including installation, operation, maintenance, and testing. The position also involves coaching and mentoring solution teams on best practices and methodologies, ensuring that the teams are equipped to deliver high-quality solutions to clients. The Solution Architect will be expected to communicate effectively with diverse teams, including technical, clinical, and operational staff, and to document and present architectural concepts clearly. This role requires the ability to distill complex information into understandable formats, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making. The position may require travel up to 20% of the time and may involve extended or irregular hours to support clients across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise during client engagement to deliver workflow and solution design to achieve defined benefits.
  • Guide clients through current workflows, upgrades, system changes, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Act as a primary consultant for the client's solution troubleshooting, consultation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge, and engagement support.
  • Resolve escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise during installation, operation, maintenance, or testing.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure project delivery meets goals of engagement.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide solution teams on recommended methodology practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • At least 5 years of health care information technology implementation or consulting working experience.
  • At least 2 years Electronic Health Record solution work experience.
  • At least 1 year of project management experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical, clinical, and operational teams.
  • Ability to document and present architecture concepts, often narrowing complex ideas to a single overview.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and deliver client-centric solutions.
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least 2 years Netsmart EHR solution work experience.
