About the position

The Solution Architect, Advanced Provider Data Management plays a critical role in navigating the complexities of regulatory requirements, business challenges, and organizational strategies to enhance capabilities and optimize existing solutions. This position is pivotal in formulating business strategies that align with the overarching goals of the organization. The Solution Architect serves as a vital link between various business units, IT departments, leadership, and program managers, ensuring that the technical solutions and roadmaps developed are in harmony with the business objectives. In this role, the Solution Architect will collaborate closely with stakeholders and business leaders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business objectives. This involves gathering existing requirements and reformulating them to facilitate the development of new capabilities and solutions. A deep understanding of new data constructs and their application to provider data management is essential. The architect will document the architectural framework for new data solutions, detailing all inputs and processes that utilize the data effectively. Leading requirements gathering sessions is a key responsibility, aimed at creating solutions that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of processes. The Solution Architect will partner with IT during solutioning sessions to develop technical process frameworks and artifacts that are grounded in business requirements. Additionally, the architect will be responsible for creating effective pre-deployment test plans and establishing post-production deployment validation expectations and artifacts. To measure the performance of new solutions, the Solution Architect will develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms. Optimizing change management for new capabilities and processes is also a critical aspect of this role, with a focus on minimizing friction during process adoption. The architect will create and present key metrics, performance indicators, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring that the solutions developed are not only effective but also aligned with the strategic goals of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to understand business objectives and gather existing requirements.
  • Reformulate requirements for the development of new capabilities and solutions.
  • Document architectural framework for new data solutions, including all inputs and processes utilizing the data.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions to create solutions that optimize accuracy and efficiency of processes.
  • Partner with IT in solutioning sessions to create technical process frameworks and artifacts based on business requirements.
  • Create effective pre-deployment test plans and post-production deployment validation expectations and artifacts.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting to measure performance of new solutions.
  • Optimize change management for new capabilities and processes, minimizing process adoption friction.
  • Create and present key metrics, performance indicators, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of solution architecture experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, project management, diagramming software, database administration, code development, and electronic file management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in business administration, IT, computer science, or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of experience as a solution architect; healthcare industry strongly preferred.
