About the position

The Solution Architect, Advanced Provider Data Management plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the organization. This position is tasked with understanding the regulatory complexities and business challenges that the organization faces, as well as aligning these with the overall organizational strategy. The Solution Architect is responsible for developing new capabilities and optimizing existing solutions to ensure that they meet the evolving needs of the business. This role requires a deep understanding of provider data management and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable technical solutions. In this position, the Solution Architect will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and program managers. This collaboration is essential for gathering existing requirements and reformulating them to develop new capabilities and solutions. The architect will document the architectural framework for new data solutions, ensuring that all inputs and processes are clearly defined and understood. Leading requirements gathering sessions is a key responsibility, as it allows the architect to create solutions that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of business processes. Additionally, the Solution Architect will partner with IT during solutioning sessions to develop technical process frameworks and artifacts that are based on the gathered business requirements. The role also involves creating effective pre-deployment test plans and establishing post-production deployment validation expectations. To measure the performance of new solutions, the architect will develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms. Furthermore, optimizing change management processes for new capabilities is crucial to minimize friction during process adoption. The architect will also be responsible for creating and presenting key metrics, performance indicators, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring that the solutions developed are aligned with business goals and deliver tangible results.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to understand business objectives and gather existing requirements.
  • Reformulate requirements for the development of new capabilities and solutions.
  • Document architectural framework for new data solutions, including all inputs and processes utilizing the data.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions to create solutions that optimize accuracy and efficiency of processes.
  • Partner with IT in solutioning sessions to create technical process frameworks and artifacts based on business requirements.
  • Create effective pre-deployment test plans and post-production deployment validation expectations and artifacts.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting to measure performance of new solutions.
  • Optimize change management for new capabilities and processes to minimize process adoption friction.
  • Create and present key metrics, performance indicators, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of solution architecture experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, project management, diagramming software, database administration, code development, and electronic file management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in business administration, IT, computer science, or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of experience as a solution architect; healthcare industry strongly preferred.
