About the position

Sparus Holdings Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team on a short-term contract as an Independent Contractor. The primary focus of this role is to lead the enhancement of our time tracking systems and integrate them with DSL, while analyzing business-critical applications for our industrial customers. The Solution Architect will work closely with business partners and IT to create technical specifications and provide guidelines to both technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enhancement of time tracking systems and integrate them with DSL.
• Analyze business-critical applications for industrial customers.
• Develop flow charts and ERDs to visualize system architecture.
• Work closely with business partners, applications development team, and IT to understand requirements.
• Create technical specifications and provide guidelines to teams.
• Provide technical leadership during design, development, and implementation.
• Coordinate with Business Analyst, Project Manager, and other stakeholders.
• Review and understand Salesforce, Oracle back-office solution (CCS), and internal applications.
• Lead technology work-stream through various life-cycle stages.
• Provide recommendations for integration between Salesforce, CCS, and other applications.
• Ensure data atomicity, redundancy, and scalability in architecture.
• Develop easy-to-understand flow diagrams and ERDs.
• Identify and manage risks, assumptions, dependencies, and escalations.
• Communicate effectively with business and technical teams.
• Analyze business and system needs in terms of programming requirements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing and building scalable web applications.
• Solid knowledge of SOA based design and integration patterns.
• 10+ years experience in designing and implementing large internet-facing web applications in .NET, MVC, ASP.NET, WCF, and C#.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
• Understanding of modern front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps (Visual Studio) is a plus.
