Our client has an immediate need for an eCommerce Solution Architect to join and lead a multi-year, multi-national modernization program and ecommerce development team. This program and team are dedicated to transforming the ecommerce technical capabilities and building a modern cloud-based platform to drive innovation and scale for the future. As an Architect, you will collaborate with business and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with business strategies. You will influence changes to business models, processes, organizations, and investments by providing a cloud and API-first technology perspective and an analytical approach to decision-making. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions across a portfolio of eCommerce products, systems, and services. In terms of architecture and design, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and composable eCommerce architectures using Azure cloud technologies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards. You will oversee the integration of eCommerce platforms with other systems, utilizing Azure Integration Services (AIS) and Azure API Management (APIM) to manage data flow, migration, and synchronization, ensuring a seamless user experience. Security management is also a key aspect of this role, where you will design robust security measures, including encryption, two-factor access controls, and OAuth2, to protect customer data and prevent fraud, ensuring compliance with Medline's security standards. Collaboration and communication are essential, as you will work with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver eCommerce solutions. You will provide technical leadership, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and maintain detailed technical documentation. Additionally, you will evaluate and lead the selection of third-party vendors and technologies that align with the eCommerce strategy.
