About the position

The Solution Architect role at International Motors is pivotal in aligning software projects with the company's business strategy and technology standards. This position involves collaborating with development teams to oversee the implementation of solutions, performing technical planning, and developing specifications for new products and services. The architect will assess the compatibility and integration of proposed products to ensure a cohesive architecture across various technologies, particularly focusing on Asset and Content Management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment of individual software projects with overall business strategy and technology standards.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to oversee solution implementation.
  • Perform technical planning, architecture development, and modification of specifications.
  • Develop specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings.
  • Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 12 years of Information Technology or IT architecture experience with at least 2 years in a lead role, OR a Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience and 2 years in a lead role, OR at least 14 years of IT architecture experience with 2 years in a lead role.
  • Strong background in software architecture, design, and development.
  • Experience with AEM technical solution blueprints and related technologies.
  • Digital Asset Management and Content Management experience.
