About the position
The Solution Architect for Professional and Managed IT Services at Lenovo is responsible for developing custom and cost-effective service solutions tailored to customer needs. This role involves evaluating customer opportunities, collaborating with internal teams and service delivery partners, and managing the development of proposals and contracts. The Solution Architect plays a critical role in ensuring that service requirements are clearly documented and met, contributing to the overall success of Lenovo's services group.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom and cost-effective service solutions for customers.
- Evaluate customer opportunities presented in RFPs/RFQs or Opportunity Leads.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Lenovo Services Delivery Partners.
- Scope requirements and identify appropriate partners for bidding.
- Create customer presentations, proposals, and internal collateral.
- Develop Statement of Work contracts with selected partners and customers.
- Negotiate with partners and customers to ensure requirements are documented.
- Manage assigned opportunities and contribute to the services group's overall business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Solution and Cost Development of Managed and Professional Services.
- Experience in contract creation and developing Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Direct experience in the IT Services Industry focused on End User devices.
- Proven success in building solutions in the IT services industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Solid prioritization skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Dynamics, or Salesforce.
