The Solution Architect is for the development and implementation of a robust architecture and state-of-the-art supporting services for a greenfield multi-tenant platform. This role is responsible for working closely with engineers and teams on engineering choices and how they align the architecture to the business vision. The incumbent will design, develop and foster technology innovation. The role will be recognized as a thought leader and advance the craft of architecture and engineering within our organization. You will lead the technical design and architecture of Inspira's new platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to product engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with product owners and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions. You will architect and design microservices-based solutions, leveraging modern technologies and best practices to enable flexibility, agility, and scalability. Your responsibilities will also include designing robust and scalable APIs for seamless integration with external systems and third-party services, ensuring interoperability and data consistency. You will utilize cloud-native technologies and frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to build and deploy scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions. Furthermore, you will ensure platform products adhere to industry-specific security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST), implementing robust security controls and measures. You will identify opportunities for performance optimization and efficiency enhancements, implementing solutions to improve platform performance and user experience. Lastly, you will create and maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and developer guidelines, while engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and align solutions with Inspira's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings.
  • Provide technical oversight and architecture/engineering solutions to large, strategic, complex multi-tenant system and application development projects, usually at the product level.
  • Use professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.
  • Lead the technical design and architecture of Inspira's new platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to product engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product owner and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in software development and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience with API design and development, ensuring interoperability and data consistency.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
