About the position
The Solution Architect - STaR role at Qualtrics involves engaging with customers early in the project lifecycle to define their vision and determine feasible solutions. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, solution selling, and customer engagement, focusing on designing technical solutions that align with business objectives. The role emphasizes collaboration across various teams and managing multiple projects in ambiguous situations, ultimately aiming to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead Project Discovery and Design Sessions to validate customer solutions.
- Articulate the business impact of proposed solutions to customers.
- Design technical solutions that meet customer business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and customers.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects and adapt to last-minute changes.
- Establish strong relationships with key technical and business decision makers at customer organizations.
- Assist in driving sales pipeline and achieving Professional Services billing targets.
Requirements
- More than 7 years of experience in a professional services or equivalent role within a SaaS organization.
- Previous experience scoping and designing solutions for enterprise-level organizations.
- Detailed understanding of services offerings within the SaaS space.
- Knowledge of implementation timelines, pricing, and RFP processes.
- Ability to write and speak English at a professional level.
- Strong understanding of methodology and research strategy.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Qualtrics software products.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Technical certifications related to SaaS or solution architecture.
