About the position

Zion Cloud Solutions is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong focus on Salesforce and case management systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing solution architectures for Salesforce, as well as experience with SAP, Power Platform, and Document Management Systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to drive the successful implementation of complex IT solutions. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, secure, and scalable solution architectures specifically for Salesforce and case management systems, ensuring that solutions meet both current and future business needs. In this position, the Solution Architect will provide hands-on technical leadership and oversight across multiple projects, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce implementations and integrations. Collaboration with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and technical teams, is essential to gather and analyze requirements, translating these into scalable and efficient architectural designs. The role also involves developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans, ensuring that documentation is up-to-date and accessible for all project stakeholders. Utilizing architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, the Solution Architect will ensure the consistency and quality of architectural designs, developing repeatable design patterns that enhance time-to-market and ensure the scalability of solutions. The role includes leading the integration of Salesforce with other systems, overseeing data migration and retention strategies, and continuously evaluating and recommending tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the quality and performance of the Salesforce platform and related solutions. Additionally, the Solution Architect will develop technical roadmaps that streamline development processes and reduce time-to-market for new Salesforce solutions, ensuring that all solutions adhere to security standards and compliance requirements. Training and mentorship of junior architects and technical staff will also be a key responsibility, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop repeatable design patterns that enhance time-to-market and ensure the scalability of solutions.
• Lead the integration of Salesforce with other systems, including SAP, Power Platform, and Document Management Systems.
• Oversee data migration and retention strategies to ensure secure and efficient handling of data.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the quality and performance of the Salesforce platform and related solutions.
• Implement best practices for secure solutioning and performance optimization.
• Develop technical roadmaps that streamline development processes and reduce time-to-market for new Salesforce solutions.
• Ensure that all Salesforce solutions adhere to security standards and compliance requirements.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior architects and technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a solution architect role.
• Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce, including case management systems.
• Extensive experience with SAP, Power Platform, and Document Management Systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) and on-premises technologies (e.g., OpenText, CGI Collection 360, Strata).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, and SQL, with familiarity in frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Proficient in database technologies (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, Informix) and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
• Demonstrated ability to transform large data streams into valuable insights.
• Experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide hands-on technical leadership over complex technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
