About the position

The IT Solutions Architect, Advanced Planning at Intuitive is responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of Production Planning solutions and associated applications. This role involves collaborating with key business stakeholders to evaluate requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business needs, and facilitating change management to improve business processes. The architect will also coach team members and act as a credible IT thought leader within the Supply Chain Planning functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in functional design and implementation of Production Planning applications.
  • Translate complex business information into actionable system activities and recommend best practices.
  • Evaluate requirements and assess the impact of use cases to ensure desired business outcomes.
  • Investigate and evaluate new applications and technologies to improve business productivity.
  • Identify gaps between current and future business processes and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure solutions designed by analysts are scalable and aligned with business needs.
  • Coach team members in design and thought leadership to achieve organizational goals.
  • Interact with analysts, business leadership, SMEs, and IT team members to drive change management.
  • Facilitate change management and transition to future state with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience implementing Production Planning solutions (SAP PP/DS) in a medical device or high-tech manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in implementing Production Planning and related solutions.
  • In-depth experience in SAP Production Planning and Detail Scheduling capabilities.
  • Knowledge of business processes in Demand/Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Distribution planning, and Service planning.
  • Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes such as Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional social skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels.
