About the position

The Solution Architect - Security at Logicalis plays a crucial role in providing pre-sales technical engineering support to Account Executives and clients, focusing on delivering tailored technical solutions for mid-size and enterprise accounts. This position requires a deep understanding of Logicalis technologies, services, and methodologies to effectively assess client needs and propose appropriate solutions. The Solution Architect will conduct assessments, analyze data, and qualify new business opportunities from a technical perspective, ensuring alignment with Logicalis's target markets and service capabilities. In this role, the Solution Architect will be responsible for producing accurate designs and proposals, designing and configuring complex solution components, and preparing for client proof of concepts. They will also conduct product demonstrations and broaden client engagements by promoting Logicalis's entire portfolio of services. A key aspect of the position involves advising the service delivery team to ensure successful implementation of solutions and helping clients understand the benefits of the proposed solutions. The Solution Architect will interface with vendor and manufacturer teams, provide training for sales teams and clients, and mentor other team members. The position requires staying updated on the latest solutions and services offered by Logicalis, establishing strong relationships with clients, and demonstrating a commitment to the company's mission and values. The Solution Architect will also need to maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance and uphold professional standards. This role does not have supervisory responsibilities but requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills to effectively manage complex projects and client interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Produces accurate designs and proposals for clients using Logicalis technologies, services, and methodologies.
  • Conducts assessments, studies, and/or surveys to obtain data; analyzes data to advise and recommend solutions.
  • Qualifies, from a technical perspective, new business opportunities or requirements within existing and prospective clients.
  • Designs and configures complex solution components.
  • Proposes elements, configurations, and implementation details of solutions.
  • Prepares for and conducts client proof of concepts.
  • Prepares and performs product demonstrations.
  • Broadens engagements with clients by promoting, defining, and positioning Logicalis services from the entire portfolio.
  • Advises service delivery team to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Helps clients understand solution benefits.
  • Interfaces with vendor and manufacturer teams.
  • Provides product and/or solution training for Logicalis Sales teams and clients.
  • Mentors Logicalis team members.
  • Participates in increasingly complex client projects.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest solutions and services Logicalis offers.
  • Establishes relationships with clients by demonstrating strong listening skills.
  • Builds credibility and trust by delivering what has been promised within established timeframes.
  • Participates in regional and national events and regional team meetings.
  • Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, management disciplines, or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in a technical pre-sales role.
  • Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards such as CMMC, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Experience in Security solutions from leading manufacturers (IBM, Cisco, Palo Alto, Gemalto, etc.).
  • Experience developing enterprise-wide solutions.
  • Experience combining products and services into technology solutions that meet client's business needs.
  • Experience in business case development.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Information security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CCIE - Security, CCNP - Security.

Benefits

  • Salary Compensation Range: $109,300 to $147,500 plus commission
