About the position

The Solution Architect at Halvik will lead the design and development of software solutions across various platforms, including custom applications, low-code platforms, and cloud-native applications. This role involves eliciting client requirements, designing data models, and creating technical solutions that leverage cloud components. The architect will also coordinate development activities within an Agile framework, ensuring effective communication with clients and the development team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of software development projects in areas such as custom applications, low-code platforms, and cloud-native applications.
  • Elicit requirements from clients, including complex process flows and data model designs.
  • Demonstrate understanding of cloud components to design cloud-native technical solutions.
  • Create workstreams for the development team to build functional infrastructure and applications using Agile methodologies.
  • Develop a roadmap to accomplish development plans and work with scrum masters and business analysts to define user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate with client leads regarding effort estimation, business priorities, and user interface recommendations.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in software development (SDLC) including 5 years as a solution architect.
  • Experience interfacing and presenting to senior client management, including C-level executives.
  • Experience designing data models for complex applications.
  • Experience designing application architecture components, preferably cloud-native solutions.
  • Experience coordinating development activities for medium to large development teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in diverse technical configurations and processing environments.
  • Experience in modern software engineering and product development methodologies.
