About the position

As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients transform their businesses and tackle complex challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to define the scope and vision for projects that deliver tailored solutions, leveraging your expertise in various platforms. This position requires you to act as a technical leader, facilitating communication between business partners, technical teams, and project stakeholders. In this role, you will be tasked with architecting, designing, and implementing sophisticated data and AI/ML solutions across diverse environments and use cases. You will be responsible for crafting solutions that address specific business problems, which includes the installation, configuration, integration, and implementation of technologies and products that meet client requirements. Your participation in requirements gathering and design sessions with clients will be crucial, as you will analyze existing processes and translate business needs into technical designs. A deep understanding of business challenges across various industries is essential, as is the ability to provide effective solutions using relevant technologies and products. Staying informed about industry trends, market directions, and emerging technologies will be key to your success, as you will leverage this knowledge to design, develop, and customize solutions that meet the needs of US Government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement complex data and AI/ML solutions for various environments and use cases.
  • Define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions with clients.
  • Analyze existing processes and convert business needs into technical designs.
  • Install, configure, integrate, and implement technologies and products tailored to specific client requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market directions, and emerging technologies to provide effective solutions.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship and an approved, active Top Secret//SCI security clearance are required on day one without exception.
  • Five years' experience designing and implementing data management and AI/ML solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns and technologies, including data fabric and data mesh.
  • Experience with DataBricks, Snowflake, and RedHat OpenShift.
  • Experience with capacity planning, scalability, performance, load testing, and multi-tenancy concepts and solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with major cloud providers including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three years within the past five architecting data management and AI/ML systems for the US Government in the national security and defense sector.
