About the position

The Solution Architect at Akkodis is responsible for designing and developing resilient, high-performance solutions while leading proof of concepts (POCs) and providing technical guidance to delivery teams. This role ensures alignment with enterprise architecture strategies and involves collaboration with various teams to assess technology applicability and manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing complex, high-performance solutions across various software development platforms, including Linux, Windows, Java, .NET, Python, and JavaScript.
• Leading the development and implementation of DevOps automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Jira, and Git to streamline processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
• Collaborating with teams to assess technology applicability, performing hands-on POC work to evaluate solutions.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams, ensuring project requirements are met with minimal supervision.
• Designing secure, integrated systems, ensuring adherence to security protocols like encryption and authentication standards.
• Managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements definition, design, testing, and deployment.
• Communicating technical progress, challenges, and status updates to program management and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture with expertise in DevOps, cloud technologies, and enterprise-level software development.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing high-performance, integrated systems across diverse platforms (Linux, Windows, Java, .NET, Python, etc.).
• Knowledge of security protocols (e.g., encryption, OAuth) and experience with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
