As a part of our Product Engineering Services practice, we are looking for a talented Solution Architect to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end Solution Design, Architecture, Proof of Concepts, and best practices to integrate with client ecosystems and Cloud/infrastructure technologies. You will serve as a Trusted Advisor within the program, driving conversations with Business Enablement Stakeholders and advising diverse teams, which include customer and partner resources in technical and functional delivery aspects at a program level. You will partner with strategic thinking and drive next-generation Architecture on Cloud, AI, Micro Services, DevOps, etc. Additionally, you will troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and demonstrate the ability to drive to a successful resolution. Your responsibilities will also include providing technical guidance to scrum teams regarding development approaches and helping developers troubleshoot and resolve issues. You will identify technical debt and future improvement opportunities, proposing solutions to enhance our systems. Supporting production releases and post-production incident resolutions will be part of your duties, as well as capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor within the program, driving conversations with Business Enablement Stakeholders and advising diverse teams.
  • Partner with strategic thinking and drive next-generation Architecture on Cloud, AI, Micro Services, DevOps, etc.
  • Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and drive to a successful resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance to scrum teams regarding development approaches and help developers troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Identify technical debt and future improvement opportunities and propose solutions.
  • Support production releases and post-production incident resolutions.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community.

Requirements

  • 15 or more years of progressive, broad-based IT software experience, successfully implementing complex IT applications and developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
  • 7+ years of solution architecture consulting and cloud solution implementation experience using Angular, AWS Services, Java and BPM Tools (Pega preferred).
  • Advanced skills in creating architecture (system and application) and design diagrams representing different views on business process, infrastructure, security, data flows/integrations, application components/capabilities.
  • AWS Solution Architect Certification & related experience is a must.
  • Experience in Web technologies including Servlets, JSP, and XML.
  • Hands-on experience in developing web applications.
  • Knowledge in Web services, JMS, Middleware tools (like Web Methods, Vitria), Web frameworks (like Struts, spring), Design Patterns (like MVC I, MVC II etc).
  • Knowledge of components for enterprise architecture like enterprise beans is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, creativity, and problem-solving within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and the tasks of others effectively and efficiently.
  • BS or BA degree in computer science is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional cloud platforms beyond AWS.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members.
