About the position

The Solutions Consultant role at TransUnion focuses on providing product expertise to clients within the Insurance Solutions team. The consultant will present the value proposition of TransUnion's solutions and optimize their application for each client's unique use case, contributing to client satisfaction and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively present the value of TU's insurance solutions to support the successful closure of opportunities and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Influence the achievement of annual revenue targets for target products and solutions.
  • Direct client engagement and solutions selling approach to establish a credible partnership with clients on product adoption.
  • Gather insights from clients and sales to deliver ongoing feedback to internal stakeholders, including product development teams.
  • Leverage internal and external data to understand market and client-level performance, staying current on the competitive landscape.
  • Develop and present thought leadership research topics for webinars, blogs, and conferences to showcase TransUnion's unique perspectives.
  • Support the implementation of solutions by connecting business needs with technical requirements.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of experience in the Life or P&C insurance industry, with a background in product, customer experience, or consulting roles.
  • Direct experience with 3rd party data solutions to enhance customer experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and design-thinking skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Highly analytical with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex terms effectively.
  • Proven ability to engage various levels of seniority within TU and clients' organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and market share using a strategic approach.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with technical tools such as Tableau, Splunk, Power BI, and Microsoft Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with sales management tools such as Salesforce or Miro.
  • CPCU or other insurance industry designations.
