As a GIS subject matter expert at Esri, you will play a pivotal role in identifying the right analysis tools for various business challenges faced by state and local government clients. Your expertise in GIS technology will enable you to create innovative solutions that not only address complex problems but also excite others about the potential of GIS. You will join an account team where your primary responsibility will be to advise customers on their most pressing business challenges, leveraging your problem-solving skills to demonstrate the value of GIS in uncovering unique patterns and trends. In this position, you will proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS can bring significant business value to our customers. You will define and deliver strategies that align Esri technology with the specific needs of clients, ensuring that you anticipate their needs and the technology trends that may impact them. Additionally, you will present technical demonstrations of proposed solutions, effectively communicating the Esri message and showcasing the capabilities of our technology to potential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with clients and support the sales team in executing strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in GIS technology and its application in solving business problems.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present and demonstrate solutions to clients.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
  • Experience in sales strategies and execution within a technical environment.
  • Knowledge of state and local government operations and challenges.
