As a GIS subject matter expert at Esri, you will play a pivotal role in identifying the right analysis tools for various business challenges. You will define and deliver strategies that align Esri technology with the specific business needs of your clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for presenting technical demonstrations of proposed solutions, ensuring that your presentations are tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences. This multifaceted position requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers and support the sales team in executing strategies.
  • Become a subject matter expert in water and a technical expert in ArcGIS.
  • Communicate confidently with customers about Esri technologies and the value they provide.
  • Proactively craft and propose solutions that address critical business challenges using GIS.
  • Define and deliver strategies that align Esri technology with customer business needs.
  • Present technical demonstrations of proposed solutions to customers.
  • Design presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in GIS technology and its application in solving business problems.
  • Strong understanding of water-related challenges and solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical information.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
  • Experience in sales or customer support roles, particularly in a technical capacity.

Nice-to-haves
