About the position

The Solution-Level Systems Engineer at TriVector Services, Inc. will support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, focusing on Army Air and Missile Defense systems. This role involves collaborating with contractors, government civilians, and system operators to develop system-level concepts that address complex problems across multiple systems. The engineer will utilize a model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach within an Agile environment to define external interfaces, system behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary for hardware and software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office in developing system-level concepts.
• Collaborate with contractors, government civilians, and system operators to address complex problems.
• Define external interfaces and outline system behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead reviews and adjudicate comments against developed concepts.
• Utilize a model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach in an Agile workflow.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Sciences field with 7+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience in tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, or tactical sensor systems.
• Strong technical background in system engineering principles.
• Record of taking initiative and being a team player in a small team environment.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment and engaging with various stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• System engineering experience in support of DoD programs, especially in Army Air and Missile Defense.
• Hands-on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF.
• Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe Agile experience.
