About the position

The Solutions Architect for the North America Supply Desk team at Amazon Ads will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technology and business. This position involves troubleshooting technical implementation issues, building scalable solutions, and providing guidance to stakeholders to enhance advertising supply products. The role requires a strong understanding of advertising technology and the ability to connect technical solutions with business value, ensuring a focus on customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed troubleshooting guidance and root cause analysis for deal-related issues.
• Educate partner engineering and technical support teams on technical best practices.
• Build robust and complex Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to provide solutions to stakeholders and customers.
• Engage with product and engineering teams to maintain the technical standards of the Supply Desk during new product releases.
• Perform technical tests on newly released products.
• Utilize log-level data to identify issues and communicate complex problems to business teams.
• Automate manual daily tasks to enhance efficiency and optimization within the Supply Desk team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics.
• 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of AWS services and the AdTech ecosystem, including oRTB objects and header-bidding technology.
• Cloud Technology Certification (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering).
