About the position
The Solutions Architect role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) involves partnering with customers to design and implement scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. As a trusted advocate, the Solutions Architect will guide organizations in understanding best practices for cloud-based solutions and assist in migrating existing workloads to the cloud. This position requires collaboration with AWS Sales and other teams to address customer challenges and promote the adoption of AWS services.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable cloud architectures for enterprise customers.
- Advise organizations on best practices for cloud-based solutions.
- Assist in migrating existing workloads to the cloud.
- Collaborate with AWS Sales and other teams to address customer business challenges.
- Mobilize resources within AWS and work with partner networks to drive successful business outcomes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 2+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
