About the position

Join NVIDIA as a Senior Engineer on the Infrastructure Specialists team, where you will play a crucial role in redefining deep learning, data analytics, and powering data centers worldwide using NVIDIA products. This position focuses on leading the planning and deployment of AI data centers, ensuring the integrity of the NVIDIA platform infrastructure through meticulous planning, implementation, and validation of all aspects of the data center's physical infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and telemetry integration. Collaboration with product and engineering teams, customers, and partners is essential for successful deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand NVIDIA's reference architectures for data center infrastructure.
  • Support customers and partners in implementing advanced and reliable data center designs.
  • Review and appraise infrastructure design plans for compliance with NVIDIA reference architecture and industry standards.
  • Deliver guidance to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of data center designs.
  • Conduct pre-deployment audits to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and sustain a strong ecosystem of colocation and service providers for rapid deployment of NVIDIA solutions.
  • Act as a mentor to the team, providing guidance and support for their success.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deployments meet specifications and performance benchmarks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data center infrastructure reliability and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and customers for seamless integration of infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in data center engineering, operations, or infrastructure management roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge in data center systems including power distribution, liquid cooling, and cabling.
  • Proven project leadership skills and ability to adapt to change.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse collaborators.
  • Proficient in planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications in a related field.
  • Experience in data center deployment, operations process, safety, and security measures.
  • Solid understanding of the entire data center infrastructure stack.
