About the position

The Solutions Architect position focuses on assisting the Judicial Branch of Connecticut in the development, enhancement, integration, and documentation of various computer systems used across courts and state agencies. The role requires a senior-level professional with extensive experience in .NET technologies and SQL Server to contribute to software development efforts and strategic planning within the IT Division.

Responsibilities

• Assist with software development efforts as determined by the project management team.
• Support the IT Division in formulating tactical and strategic plans.
• Reconcile current business requirements with modern information technology standards.
• Contribute to the development of Windows and web-based .NET applications.
• Assist in system integration and documentation.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework (4.6.2 and up), .NET 6 & 8, and .NET MVC.
• Experience with SQL Server (2016 and up) and ability to write complex queries.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Authentication (Microsoft Entra).
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS for data integration and reporting.
• Strong debugging skills and understanding of design patterns.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap and jQuery.
• Knowledge of IIS (8.5 and up) and performance optimization techniques for SQL Server.
