About the position

As a Solutions Architect specializing in Network and Virtualization at GDIT, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the Department of Defense by leveraging your expertise to optimize business strategies and solve complex challenges faced by our clients. Your contributions will be essential in shaping and pursuing contract opportunities that not only enrich our business but also provide engaging and meaningful work for our employees. In this role, you will be a key contributor to full lifecycle solutioning efforts, ensuring that our technical solutions align with the unique requirements of our customers. You will lead technical contributions to capture efforts, acting as a conduit for innovation and technology thought leadership from across the organization. Your leadership will be crucial in the capture of contract opportunities, collaborating with various functional teams to secure successful contract wins and support transitional efforts. You will work closely with peers in the EIT and ESA SA teams to architect compelling solutions, which will be presented in both written and presentation formats. Integration with our System Engineering Team, ITSM Capability Team, and Digital Accelerator teams will be vital to bring the best of our solutions to proposals. This position offers you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in both technical and people leadership, harmonizing team inputs into a cohesive proposal voice. Your technical domain knowledge in areas such as Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS), and other networking skills will be instrumental in enriching our growing capability team focused on market leadership in the Defense Marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Key contributor to full lifecycle solutioning efforts to align technical solutions capabilities to customer requirements.
  • Lead technical contributions to capture efforts, acting as a conduit for innovation and technology thought leadership.
  • Lead aspects of contract opportunity capture, working across functional teams to deliver successful contract wins.
  • Collaborate with peers in the EIT and ESA SA teams to architect compelling solutions presented in written and presentation forms.
  • Integrate with System Engineering Team, ITSM Capability Team, and Digital Accelerator teams to enhance proposal solutions.
  • Harmonize team inputs into a common voice in proposals, leveraging technical and people leadership skills.
  • Utilize technical domain knowledge in CSfC, MILS, and networking to support a growing capability team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Business-related field.
  • 15 years of progressive experience in relevant fields.
  • Strong technical skills in Networking, CSfC, MILS, Wireless Networking, and IT Operations within classified environments.
  • Top Secret security clearance required.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.
