About the position

The position of Manager in Oracle consulting at PwC involves helping organizations leverage enterprise technology to achieve their digital goals and capitalize on business opportunities. The role focuses on transforming clients' organizations through effective data and analytics strategies, implementing Oracle offerings, and addressing business challenges in finance, operations, and compliance. As a Manager, you will lead a team of problem solvers, guiding them in resolving complex business issues from strategy to execution while fostering personal development and maintaining high standards of work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.
  • Act to resolve issues which prevent the team from working effectively.
  • Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Proven record of success as a team leader in managing data strategy, data governance, and data solution implementation projects.
  • Experience leading teams of on and off-shore resources, including business analysts and developers.
  • Ability to analyze end-to-end data flows and conduct hands-on data analysis.
  • Experience in designing improved data flows and data architecture in partnership with subject matter experts.
  • Experience with Oracle OFSAA, Oracle ADW, Oracle FAW, OAC, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Understanding of finance systems such as General Ledgers and Finance Data Warehouse.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in automating processes and analytics using tools like Alteryx and UiPath.
  • Technical skills in MS Office and G-suite.
