The Solution Architect will serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a focus on network security. This role requires a recognized technical thought leader who can think strategically about solution areas while possessing in-depth knowledge of specific technical elements. The Solution Architect will be responsible for bringing technical credibility to accounts, presenting solutions to customers, and providing pre-sales and go-to-market support for strategic accounts. Collaboration with the Sales Specialist is essential for driving sales pursuits and pipeline growth. Additionally, the Solution Architect will maintain technical vendor relationships with key partners and stay updated on advancements in solutions relevant to the role. This position emphasizes a security focus, ensuring that the architect is well-versed in the latest security technologies and practices. In this role, the Solution Architect will partner with business leaders to deliver services that align with company objectives and adhere to the values of Winning Together. The architect will provide deep subject matter expertise and demonstrate a willingness to engage in tactical work. Responsibilities include defining and executing the Go to Market (GTM) strategy, engaging with key accounts to build credibility, and developing technical solutions. The architect will also create comprehensive technical design documentation, including Technical Presentations, Visio Diagrams, Level of Effort (LOE), and Bill of Materials (BOM). Participation in customer opportunity and strategy meetings is crucial to understanding and articulating both business and technical strategies. The Solution Architect will qualify designs and opportunities, produce technical architecture documentation, and work closely with vendors to stay informed about current and future technologies. Acting as the Design Authority for key accounts, the architect will work on enterprise-scale, mission-critical projects and collaborate with peers to recommend future technologies and services. Researching technology and producing white papers to promote Computacenter's offerings will also be part of the role. Continuous self-development and industry awareness are essential, as is the management of customer demonstrations and Proofs of Concept. The architect will also be responsible for developing service offerings that utilize newly released products, ensuring that functionality claims are valid and that proposed solutions meet customer needs.
