The Solutions Architect at CRH Americas will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions tailored for our internal customers. This position is crucial for ensuring that the solutions not only meet the immediate needs of the business but are also scalable and sustainable over time. The Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with the System Architect to evaluate various requirements and recommend the most effective solutions, while also articulating the trade-offs associated with each option. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce technologies, as well as strong communication and governance skills to align technology with business processes effectively. In this position, the Solutions Architect will conduct thorough research into how different business units utilize Salesforce, aiming to propose a clear roadmap for enhancements and new solutions. The role involves working directly with business users and Sales Operations teams to gather insights and best practices, which will inform the development of new Salesforce solutions. The architect will also be responsible for leading the design and implementation of these solutions, which includes configuration, development, quality assurance testing, and deployment of CRM solutions. Additionally, the Solutions Architect will engage in collaborative efforts to create prototypes and proofs of concept, assisting in the definition of requirements. This includes writing user stories, establishing success criteria, and ensuring thorough documentation for testing processes. The role also encompasses administrative tasks related to Salesforce management, such as managing fields, process builders, flows, and various other configurations. Continuous learning and staying updated on Salesforce release updates are essential components of this position, as is the ability to provide demonstrations of solutions to stakeholders. This role primarily operates remotely, with occasional in-office meetings required.
