About the position

The Solutions Architect at SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. will play a crucial role in supporting the Capture Manager by assessing customer business challenges and identifying technology solutions. This position involves collaborating with various teams to develop, write, and communicate effective solutions for proposals, ensuring a winning submission. The role is hybrid, requiring two days a week in the office, and is suited for an experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced government contractor environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical, operational, and staffing solution approaches to meet customer requirements.
• Present technical solutions and concepts to Capture and Proposal Managers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and advocate opportunities for technical and cost-saving innovation.
• Work with Capture Managers to assess potential partners and subcontractors.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and share insights with stakeholders.
• Attend events supporting SBG Technical and Innovation goals and present to the Growth Team.
• Lead solution development sessions with capture and proposal teams.
• Support the Proposal Team in creating easy-to-understand graphics for proposals.
• Translate solutions into effective business proposals and evaluate issues and gaps.
• Use leadership qualities to support team spirit and drive technical efforts across teams.

Requirements

• Minimum seven (7) years' experience in Federal Civilian and DoD IT related and Health IT focused federal agencies.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Solutions Architect or IT Solutioning SME.
• Strong skills in analysis and solution synthesis in systems engineering.
• Ability to apply heuristic, inductive, and deductive reasoning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with limited direction.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines.
