About the position

This Solutions Architect role is a client-facing position focused on delivering integrations that provide significant value to public safety partners. The role involves collaborating with client and project teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely delivery of technical services, including system interface construction and project scoping. The Solutions Architect will work under minimal supervision to implement processes that enhance quality and productivity in an accelerated business growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a client facing member of the Software Solutions Delivery Team
  • Collaborate with networking and software professionals to deliver Axon technology to public safety clients
  • Analyze IT system architectures for scoping technical projects and recommending improvements
  • Manage technical projects remotely and at client sites
  • Engage with public safety's technical and non-technical leadership to communicate project progress
  • Work with account management to ensure customer needs are met
  • Ensure high service levels for Axon software deployments
  • Identify integration opportunities between agency systems and Axon's products
  • Recommend deployment plans for identified integrations that drive key outcomes for the agency
  • Work closely with product, sales, software engineers, and agency technical stakeholders to understand agency goals
  • Leverage integration templates and patterns to recommend and deploy integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience in analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions
  • Experience deploying and implementing a Records Management System (RMS) or Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) into public safety agencies
  • Hands-on experience with API structures and systems integration (REST, SOAP)
  • Basic to intermediate skills in SQL, Python, and Azure Cloud tools
  • Data-mapping project experience for ETL is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and software development packages
  • Demonstrated system-level understanding of enterprise software systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience delivering enterprise software in a regulated environment (GovTech, HIPAA, FinTech, ISO, etc)
  • Project Management experience and/or certifications (i.e. PMI Certifications)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks in a dynamic environment.
