About the position

The Solutions Architect for Supply Chain Planning at Hewlett Packard is responsible for supporting business transformation initiatives within the PS Planning organization. This role involves working closely with project teams and business stakeholders to align technology with key business processes. The architect will independently develop project strategies, analyze data, and lead cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain solutions and drive strategic projects from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

  • Independently structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies by applying advanced supply chain knowledge.
  • Interprets benchmarking and statistical data to create new processes and tools for supply chain objectives.
  • Conducts investigations and prepares business cases and financial analyses for supply chain projects.
  • Leads large, cross-functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance to achieve project goals.
  • Owns complex strategic supply chain projects from planning through execution and provides findings from project execution.
  • Collaborates with IT delivery teams and leadership to understand technical debt and inform roadmaps.
  • Consults with business executives on high-level supply chain issues, including risk management and growth opportunities.
  • Works with key stakeholders to optimize supply chain solutions and improve implementation experiences.
  • Acts as a key advisor to senior management on supply chain strategies and long-term goals.
  • Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas in supply chain projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, including 2 years in a senior-level role.
  • 5+ years' experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • 2+ years' experience with ERP systems like SAP.
  • Experience with Supply Chain and Manufacturing Technology.
  • Proven project and process management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
