About the position

The Solutions Architect for Travel & Hospitality at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for partnering with customers to design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to design and build scalable cloud architectures.
• Advise organizations on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud.
• Drive successful business outcomes by educating and training customers on AWS services.
• Mobilize resources within AWS and work with partners to enhance cloud adoption.
• Shape and execute strategies for deep adoption of AWS within enterprise customers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
• Experience in the Construction, Real Estate, or Transportation & Logistics industry.
